These People Care is a non-profit organization that works in these four areas. We feed the
homeless, empower at-risk women, protect vulnerable children, and love the broken. In this website you will find who we are, where we are located, how we help those in need, our store, and much more. Below you will find a video describing how the organization developed, and from there we encourage you to browse around and see how you can be a part of These People Care in helping the least of these.
We see feeding the homeless as an opportunity full of joy. Each week we go through the city of Madrid offering sandwiches and drinks to those who cannot afford to have a meal. We also have a pantry in our facility where we accept non-perishable items from donors and church members.
It’s heartbreaking to think that there are more slaves now than ever before in human history. The biggest form of slavery is prostitution. Knowing this is a horrible reality, These People Care fights against it in every possible way. We have made relationships with many who have been trafficked and are in the process of creating jobs as an organization for those who have been trafficked. In fact, all of the money used to purchase items in our shop goes to help these ladies get out of slavery.
As we help at-risk women we find that many of them have children. These children are vulnerable because of the state of their families. We want to see these children in a safe environment where they can thrive. We are developing programs to make sure these children are able to have every opportunity to be safe and successful in life, including an after-school program to help tutor them in a safe environment.
As much as we love helping people physically, we have also realized that many of them are emotionally and spiritually broken. Our desire is to not just help them physically, but to encourage their spirits as well. We have dedicated ourselves to bringing healing to the whole person. We have mentors for the people we help as well as a licensed counselor to meet with them as needed. If you wish to donate to this ministry, you can do so by clicking below:
